Such a wonderful day yesterday! All those lovely photos with Tina Turner. 😀
This is what Tina Turner said: “It has been wonderful to collaborate with Katori and Phyllida and to have my story nurtured by such an amazing creative team is thrilling.”
Here is Tina Turner and the cast of the workshop yesterday!

And this is what Adrienne Warren said about yesterday: “and What a Dream it was!! How incredibly grateful I am!”
And the actress Amy Florence Lennox said this: “Been working on a special workshop of a new show this week all about this wonderful lady …so thrilled to meet her what a gorgeous legend she is “.

Writers: Katori Hall, Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins

Playwright Katori Hall won acclaim for the Martin Luther King drama “The Mountaintop”.
Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins wrote the scripts of the André Hazes muscial “He believes in me” and also did the edition for the musical “The Twin”.

Creative Director of Stage Entertainment.: Tali Pelman

Director: Phyllida Lloyd and Music Director: Nicholas Skilbeck

Phyllida Lloyd is well-known for her bold takes on the classics, such as an an-female Shakespeare trilogy starring Harriet Walter, but her biggest stage success has been the Abba jukebox musical “Mamma Mia!”, which became a global blockbuster.
Nicholas Skilbeck is a musical director, composer and orchestrator and was involved in the musicals “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “Billy Elliott” and many others.
As a composer he worked for “Much Ado About Nothing and “Twelfth Night” and many others.

Choreographer: Anthony van Laast and Designer: Mark Thompson

Choreographer Anthony van Laast and Designer Mark Thompson both worked on the hit ABBA musical “Mamma Mia.”

Amy Lennox is an Olivier nominated actress, known for the films “Never Let Me Go” (2010), “Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines” (2012) and “The Cab-Ride” (2012) and she played in several musicals like “Peter Pan”, Sweeney Todd” and is now playing in the David Bowie musical “Lazarus”.

With Actor Tom Edden

Tom Edden is a Tony nominated actor, who played in “Doctor Faustus”, “One Man Two Guvnors”, “Les Mis”, “Oliver!”, “Star Wars”, “Cinderella”, “Mr. Turner” and at the moment plays in “Amadeus”.
