Last year there was a TT weekend in the US to raise money for the renovation of Tina’s old school. This year they are organising another weekend. The last weekend in September 2013, 27-28 September that is.

I just received this message from the Delta Heritage Center, that is restoring Tina’s old school. Let us help them get that money, so please donate! Here is the message and the link:
Dear Tina Fans,
The Delta Heritage Center have been challenged with raising $75,000 before the end of the year in order to receive matching funds that will complete the funding and restoration of Flagg Grove School. Can you help us meet this goal? If each one could just send $2 or more, we would be so much closer to accomplishing this goal. In exchange we will list your name in a special commemorative booklet about the project (and Tina will also receive a copy) and for everyone who contributes $50 or more, your name will be added to a plaque and displayed inside the school.
