1969 - Playboy After dark
n 1969 Hugh Hefner was back on television with Playboy After Dark. This time in living color. The penthouse shows featured jazz. This time Playboy After Dark added rock ‘n’ roll and the cream of the crop in the world of entertainment. It was one swinging 60’s style party featuring Linda Ronstadt, Joe Cocker, Mort Sahl, Sid Caesar, Sonny and Cher, Canned Heat, Ike and Tina Turner, Jerry Lewis and a host of celebrities and party goers.
The 12 page booklet was written by Bill Zehme and the cover of the booklet features one-of-a-kind artwork by Leroy Neiman. This is a 3 DVD box collection featuring television shows from the '50s and the '60s. Every show has been remastered to bring back the glorious quality of it’s original flavor. Each DVD contains 2 complete shows capturing a party only Hugh Hefner could have thrown. This time, you are invited!
